LOVE IS MY SUPERHERO SOUNDTRACK
Every superhero that I’ve ever seen
on the big screen
has got a soundtrack.
The power’s not in gadgets or a super look,
No, it’s the catchy hook
in the soundtrack.
There’s no orchestra provided me.
But deep inside of me.
I hear a score called love.
I can’t fly like superman.
Swing up high like spiderman.
Soar the sky like wonder woman way above me.
But I’ve got friends who love me,
And love, love,
love is my superhero soundtrack!
I can tell we’re coming to an epic part,
When the trumpets start
In the soundtrack.
I’ve often thought that I could take the enemy
with a timpani
In my soundtrack.
When I’m beaten down at my wits end.
Well past the credits end—
I hear a score called love.
I can’t fly like superman.
Swing up high like spiderman.
Soar the sky like wonder woman way above me.
But I’ve got friends who love me,
And love, love,
love is my superhero soundtrack!
Love is the one essential song
that makes a super scene
hrough funny parts,
the dramatic parts
or the boring parts in between.

MY MOM IS BATMAN
It’s unbelievable,
It can’t be possible,
No way, uh-uh, can’t be, that’s the
Most shocking thing I’ve heard.
It’s just so marvelous
That it’s preposterous.
I can hardly say the word,
It’s so outlandish and absurd,
I think my Mom
Is Batman.
I think my mom is batman.
Nanananananna Batman.
She can’t be Wonder Woman,
Cuz that outfit wouldn’t fit,
And so that settles it,
My mom is Batman.
She tucks me into bed
And then later,
She emerges as the caped crusader.
So the Joker best behave
Or once she’s got him,
She’ll dole out truth and justice at the bottom.
She’s tired before her coffee
So it’s real,
She’s clearly been out in the batmobile.
By day she’s in disguise to do her job in.
And Dad I think’s her sidekick—yeah, he’s Robin.
So in a crisis, everyone be calm,
Cuz batman…is my mom.
I think my mom is batman.
Nanananananna Batman.
She can’t be Wonder Woman,
Cuz that outfit wouldn’t fit,
And so that settles it.
My mom is Batman.

We've Got Rules

THE RULES
We’ve got rules,
As silly as they seem.
We’ve got rules,
There is no I in Team.
And what in earth and heaven does that mean.
Means we’ve got rules.
Never drink the water from the toilet,
Cuz Grandpa got there first and it’s polluted.
Never ever lick a fire hydrant,
Cuz you don’t who got there before you did.
Never kiss a honey badger,
Or you’ll lose your face
Never take your helmet off
When out in outer space.
Don’t swim with the crocs or step
into an outhouse blindly.
And make sure you treat everybody kindly.
Those are the rules!
And we know what we speak of,
There must be rules,
If you don’t like them, well tough.
There aren’t too many, still they are enough.
Cuz we need rules.
Never eat a cow if he’s still mooing.
Cuz hair inside your mouth is gross when chewing.
Make sure you’ve got paddles when canoeing.
Never kiss your mom while you’re achooing.
Make sure you’ve got ice enough
Before you figure skate.
Never bite tarantulas
Unless he’s on your plate.
Never trust a pirate or
Go out to plunder blindly.
And make sure you treat everybody kindly.
Welcome to the team,
our superhero team!
And you’ll discover why our rules are jewels
By keeping all the rules.

EVERY SUPERHERO’S SCARED OF SOMETHING
I can stop a meteor
bounding straight for Baltimore.
I can crush a boulder with bare hands.
Swifter than a bullet train,
mighty as a hurricane,
I have powers no one understands.
I’m big, I’m strong, I’m tall.
I’m the greatest of them all,
But I still need a nightlight in the hall.
Every superhero’s scared of something.
Why must I be scared of the dark?
Couldn’t it be dynamite
A spider bite or Kryptonite?
I could save the world like Tony Stark,
If I weren’t afraid of the dark.
Steady as the Rio Grande,
steadfast as a minute hand,
handsomer than any rose in bloom.
I’m every city’s favorite son,
braver than most anyone
Till you turn the light off in my room.
I’m big, I’m strong, I’m tall.
I’m the greatest of them all,
But I still need a nightlight in the hall.
Every superhero’s scared of something.
Why am I afraid of the dark?
Couldn’t it be dynamite
A spider bite or Kryptonite?
I cold save the world and leave a mark.
If I weren’t afraid of the dark.
The only thing that’s worse than this, no doubt,
I think my baby sister just found out—
And she’s a super villain.
Every superhero’s scared of something.
Why must I be scared of the dark?
Couldn’t it be dynamite
A spider bite or Kryptonite?
Every superhero’s scared of something.
Why must I be scared of the dark?
Couldn’t it be dynamite
A spider bite or Kryptonite?
Truth and justice ought to be a lark,
But not if your afraid of the dark.

Drama Queen

DRAMA QUEEN
Look out! I’m back in style.
I appreciate the inch,
now I’ll take a mile.
My tears are real—
Like a crocodile’s.
I’m the most annoying villain ever seen.
That’s me!
I’m the drama queen.
Look out! The spotlight’s on.
Every wedding, I’m the bride,
or perhaps Don Juan.
If life is chess,
Why, then you’re a pawn.
While I’m, of course, the all-important queen.
Not king.
Nope! The drama queen!
I’m drama queen.
Invite me to your party?
I’ll upset it.
Or a family reunion,
You’ll regret it.
I’m the center of attention,
And if not, you bet I’ll get it.
Mean?
Is it mean to make a scene
When you’re
the drama queen.
Look out! Sure, I confess
I’m a bit melodramatic,
Yes, but nonetheless
My work is best
When you’re under stress.
A little temper tantrum is serene
for me
yes, the drama queen!
Look out! Oh, woe is me,
All the world is caving in as
As it ought to be.
I’d like to thank
The Academy
for best supporting actor in a scene.
That’s NOT me...
I’m drama queen.
Invite me to your party?
I’ll upset it.
Or a family reunion,
You’ll regret it.
I’m the center of attention,
And if not, you bet I’ll get it.
Mean?
Is it mean to make a scene
When you’re
the drama queen.
If I’m sad, then I’m despondent.
If I’m late, I’m really late.
If I’m hurt, then I’m in torment.
If I’m mad then I’m irate.
If you’re sick, well, then I’m sicker,
It’s my blessing and my curse.
How I’ll take it, break it, shake it,
I can fake it, bellyache it,
Just to make bad moments worse.

Invent Something
03:54
|

INVENT SOMETHING
Today’s a perfect day to invent something.
A perfect model moment to present something,
Something for posterity that meant something,
Something that went something
like this!
All systems a-go. Add creative juices.
Effort. Inspiration!
Now…pull the lever.
The muses seem operative.
I think we are on the verge of inventing something.
Imagine if you will a machine
That can do your math and keep your bedroom clean,
and cure disease, if given time
or write a novel or a rhyme,
plus save dime or figure how to spend it.
And then invent a thing that’s yet invented.
There’s no such thing.
Oh yes! Let me explain.
It’s called a brain!
You invented a brain?
No, I have a brain.
And I intend to use my brain to create something that
Wasn’t there before.
Will it hurt?
Now don’t be a silly goose,
Simple-minded or obtuse,
I’ll put my mighty brain to use…
Right now.
Today’s a perfect day to invent something.
A perfect model moment to present something,
Something for posterity that meant something,
Something that went something
like this!
Just because you didn’t see anything happen
Doesn’t mean nothing happened.
Now for a moment let’s assume you’re right.
Which in your case the likelihood is slight.
The average brain—a brain like yours—
Is just three pounds, and yet it stores
your thoughts, your dreams, and handles every function.
But watch out if you give your brain the unction
to think of something no one ever thought of,
yet somehow ought’ve.
But I can’t see anything happening.
Are you sure you’re brain is working?
Now once again you’re really wrong,
I’m thinking of a little song
A very simple little song
That goes like this.
Today’s a perfect day to invent something.
A perfect model moment to present something,
Something for posterity that meant something,
Something that went something
Like this something that I’m singing.
And that’s my great invention today.

Let the Rockstar Out

LET THE ROCKSTAR OUT
Got my hair done up.
Lotsa bling bling, too.
Got my ITunes band.
Got a brush in hand.
It’s my big debut.
C'mon, we got a show to do!
Because tonight is a perfect night
to let the Rockstar out.
Got my bedroom door shut tight
to let the Rockstar out.
Got a mob of adoring fans
Waving cell phones with their hands.
Got my groove thing grooving
My dance moves proving
Tonight
Is the perfect night
To let the rockstar out.
Got a sold out room,
And they’re on their feet.
Got the lights turned low,
Hope my nerves don’t show,
Cuz I’m scared as can be.
Even if it’s just me.
Because tonight is a perfect night
to let the Rockstar out.
Got my bedroom door shut tight
to let the Rockstar out.
Got a mob of adoring fans
Waving cell phones with their hands.
Got my groove thing grooving
My dance moves proving
tonight
Is the perfect night
To let the rockstar out.
Outside I may seem no big deal.
But I have dreams and dreams have ways of turning real.
Because tonight is a perfect night
to let the Rockstar out.
Got my bedroom door shut tight
to let the Rockstar out.
Got a mob of adoring fans
Waving cell phones with their hands.
Got my groove thing grooving
My dance moves proving
Tonight
Is the perfect night
To let the rockstar out.

PRINCESS WITH REALLY, REALLY, REALLY BIG BRAINS
I might be a princess,
But ya won’t catch me at court.
I’m happy in a frilly dress,
or mud in any sport.
I know my p’s and q’s and yes,
You best not sell me short.
I ain’t no damsel in distress.
I ain’t the fairy tale sort.
Though dragons would ensnare me,
and witches apple-dare me,
those bullies best beware me,
I’m a princess—
With really, really, really big…brains.
Tra-la- la-la- la-la- la!
My beauty is a given.
Tra-la- la-la- la-la- la!
I’m also smart and driven.
I’m tough enough to handle this.
No, I don’t need prince charming’s kiss.
I’ve made my path and none but I can choose it!
I’ve gotta a brain, and I know how to use it.
I’m a princess—
Got that? A princess!
I’m a princess
With really, really, really, big…brains.
A prince once said, “Let down your hair!”
I said, “Have you no compassion?”
One prince said, “This glass shoe’s for you.”
I said, “No! That’s last year’s fashion.”
I need no prince to brave me,
To wine or dine or save me.
I’m good with what God gave me—
I’m a princess—
With really, really, really, big…brains.
One prince I met was just a beast.
I said, “Got no time for jerks.”
Another prince said, “I’ll be king.”
But I like the man who works.
I want no one to tend me,
But rather comprehend me—
Don’t woo me, just befriend me,
I’m a princess—
With really, really, really, big…brains.
I’m a princess—
With really, really, really, big…brains.

More Than a Super to Me
04:06
|
|||
YOU’RE MORE THAN A SUPER TO ME
You’re more than a super to me.
What’s more, you’re my hero and friend.
Whatever life’s planned here,
I’m honored to stand here,
And give you a hand here again.
You’re more than a super to me.
And I’m proud to be your sidekick.
When bullies and bad guys come near,
Together, there’s little to fear.
Where ever there’s trouble,
We’ll rise from the rubble
Be there on the double, cuz we’re,
a force to be reckoned with here.
And I’m proud to be your sidekick.
You be the super, and I’ll be your sidekick—let’s go!
We’re stronger and better when we work together—let’s go!
When we’ve only a wing and a prayer,
No matter what—I’ll still be there!
Two heroes—with you as the super
And I’m proud to be your sidekick.
Some troubles, we’ve been through a few.
Yet somehow we always pull through.
We love what we do, though
I’m glad to watch you, oh
We’re best as a duo, that’s true!
You’re more than a super to me.
And I’m proud to be your sidekick.
You be the super, and I’ll be your sidekick—let’s go!
We’re stronger and better when we work together—let’s go!
When we’ve only a wing and a prayer,
No matter what—I’ll still be there!
Two heroes—with you as the super
and me as your sidekick.
No matter what happens, let’s be
The best pals two heroes can be!
You’re more than a super to me.
What’s more, you’re my hero and friend.
Whatever life’s planned here,
I’m honored to stand here,
And give you a hand here again.
You’re more than a super to me.
And I’m proud to be your sidekick.
You be the super, and I’ll be your sidekick—let’s go!
We’re stronger and better when we work together—let’s go!
When we’ve only a wing and a prayer,
No matter what—I’ll still be there!
Two heroes—with you as the super
and I'm proud to be your sidekick.

Everyone Shouted "Huzzah!" (for Pirate Jake)
A pirate arrived at the famed pearly gates.
and wondered if it was a sin
to sneak into heaven, the bilge rat he was.
He nervously gulped and stepped in.
All heaven grew silent, and gave him a stare,
The angel choirs halted mid-chord.
He thought he was done for, when Gabriel stepped up
and bellowed out “Welcome Aboard.”
That’s when everyone shouted Huzzah!
And everyone shouted Yo Ho.
He knew then and there all he need to know
When everyone shouted Huzzah.
That’s when everyone shouted Ahoy!
And everyone stood up to cheer.
He knew there was room here for one buccaneer.
When everyone shouted Huzzah.
Some saints and he dabbled in swashbuckling tales,
adventures all fit to astound,
of treasures once lost and then found and then lost,
yet one most important one found.
Then Peter showed up with some good sasparil,
And pop! went a bottle of foam.
He said, “Here’s to pirates with hearts of pure gold,
And deckhands who welcome them home.”
That’s when everyone shouted Huzzah!
And everyone shouted Yo Ho.
He knew then and there all he need to know
When everyone shouted Huzzah.
Even Mark Luke and John sang Ahoy!
And David himself led a cheer.
He knew there was room here for one buccaneer.
When everyone shouted Huzzah.
It turns out that heaven’s a place
Full of scallywags, scoundrels, and grace.
A pirate was welcomed in heaven tonight,
A diamond, but one in the rough.
He said, “I’m a pirate.” Then Jesus said back,
Me, too. And that is enough.
That’s when everyone shouted Huzzah!
And everyone shouted Yo Ho.
He knew then and there all he need to know
When everyone shouted Huzzah.
That’s when everyone shouted Ahoy!
And everyone shouted Three Cheers.
He felt right at home with those old buccaneers.
When everyone shouted Huzzah.

GOTTA CATCH EM ALL (POKEMON THEME)
I wanna be the very best
Like no one ever was
To catch them is my real test
To train them is my cause
I will travel across the land
Searching far and wide
Teach pokemon to understand
The power that's inside
[Chorus]
Pokemon! Gotta catch 'em all! It's you and me
I know it's my destiny,
Pokemon! Oh you're my best friend
In a world we must defend
Pokemon! A heart so true
Our courage will pull us through,
You teach me and I'll teach you,
Pokemon! Gotta catch' em all
[Chorus]
Every challenge along the way
With courage I will face.
I will battle every day
To claim my rightful place.
Come with me,
The time is right,
There's no better team.
Arm in arm we'll win the fight!
It's always been our dream!
